Privacy Notice

CP 39600, is responsible for the processing of your personal data in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

2. What personal data do we collect?
From the person who creates an invitation (the “host” or “user”)
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number (if you provide it for WhatsApp support)
- Billing details (name or legal name, RFC if you request an invoice)
- Event information you choose to publish (names of the honorees, date, venue, photographs you upload)
- Payment data: we do not store card numbers; they are processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe), which holds a PCI-DSS Level 1 certification
From people invited to an event (the “guests”)
When a host shares their invitation and a guest confirms attendance, we collect:
- Name
- Attendance confirmation (yes/no) and number of companions
- Answers to additional questions configured by the host (for example, dietary restrictions)
This data is collected by the host through our platform to manage their own event; Linkvitación acts as the technical processor of that data, and the host is responsible for the information they choose to request from their guests.
Data collected automatically
- Browsing data (device type, browser, pages visited) through cookies and similar technologies, for site operation and basic analytics.
3. Purposes of processing
Purposes necessary to provide the service:
- Creating and managing your account
- Generating and publishing your digital invitation
- Processing your plan payment
- Sending confirmations, reminders, and notifications related to your event
- Providing support
- Meeting tax and legal obligations (invoicing, accounting)
Secondary purposes (you may object without affecting the service):
- Sending you Linkvitación news, promotions, or content by email or WhatsApp
- Analytics to improve the platform

4. Data transfers
To operate the service, we share data with the following third parties, only to the extent necessary:

These providers may host information on servers outside Mexico (the United States or other regions), which constitutes an international data transfer. By using Linkvitación you accept this transfer, which is necessary to operate the service. All our providers maintain their own security and privacy policies, which you can review on their websites.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.
5. ARCO rights
You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Object (ARCO rights) to the processing of your personal data, and to revoke your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, send your request to floresalvarado.alicia@gmail.com including:
- Your full name
- A clear description of the data over which you exercise your right
- A document proving your identity
We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days, as established by the LFPDPPP.
If you are a guest (not a host) and want to exercise these rights over the data you shared when confirming attendance to an event, you can contact us directly or make the request through the event’s host, who is responsible for the guest list.
6. Data retention
- Your account and event data are kept while your account is active.
- The public page of an invitation remains available according to the term of your plan (see Terms and Conditions) and is automatically deleted 30 days after that date, unless you request its deletion earlier.
- Billing data is kept for the periods required by Mexican tax law.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for site operation (keeping you signed in) and optional analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used. You can manage your cookie preferences in your browser settings.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data against damage, loss, alteration, unauthorized access, or misuse, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access control to our database.
9. Minors
Linkvitación is not directed at people under 18. If you are a minor, you need the consent and supervision of your parent or guardian to use the platform (for example, the invitation for your own quinceañera must be created by an adult responsible for the account).
10. Changes to this notice
We may modify this privacy notice to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will publish any relevant change on this same page with its update date. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
